Has anyone been having trouble with Revolution insecticide not working this year besides me?
This year my vet recommended Revolution instead of Frontline Plus for my pets so I switched to it. I have been very unhappy with the results or I should say, total lack of! I put it on and the fleas are still there and never even seem to be fewer in numbers! Ticks I know are more resistant and I allow some leeway for them but fleas? They are awful! Have 1993 ford T-Bird. odomotor just stopped but the speedomotor still works. Is this fixable ?

Only thing I can think to do is replace the cable to it. Other end is stuck in the top of the transmission. Might be something wrong with the gears of the cable. They do wear out. But I'm just an amateur so what do I know. This is the cheapest fix I know to try 1st before moving up to more expensive fixes.

It would make a great art appreciation contest other than the silly coloring contests from xeroxed pictures...Not to mention, my 2 yr old loves coloring on my fridge, walls, doors, etc. She scribbles but finds letters hidden within...so far it's M, W, A, U, V, N, S, O...and a brown ';octopus'; on the corner wall!

how old were you embies? They transfered 5 day embies for me and told me to test after 8 days with blood. I heard with 3 day embies they make you wait 2 weeks. Also with 5-6 day embies implantation should take place with in 3 days after transfer. To be safe I have stayed off my feet for 1 week as much as possible and am not doing anything until after my test on Tuesday. IF the label on this anti-freeze says that it works with ';all coolant colors'; does it really mean that?
I'n my old car my dad mixed two different types of anti-freeze and it got like jelly. I don't want that to happen again.

Gail, Wish you'd have listed the year make and model of your car. We could have advised you which type (formulation) of antifreeze uour car should have. You're absolutely correct, there are at least a half dozen different, completely separate antifreeze formulations. In your glove compartment you'll find your hand book. In the specifications page it'll tell you which formula you should have. If the book is missing call a dealership of your car parts counter. They'll help you out with which type, and furmulation your buggie should have.
If you've ever noticed the fairly new Prestone Antifreeze on TV where a guy picks up a bottle of brand X antifreexe and an IDIOT ';actor'; who doesn't know squat, tells him that Prestone will go in any car. That statement is pure unadulterated BS. Stupid adds like that get unknowing people in a heap of hurt!

Gail, Wish you'd have listed the year make and model of your car. We could have advised you which type (formulation) of antifreeze uour car should have. You're absolutely correct, there are at least a half dozen different, completely separate antifreeze formulations. In your glove compartment you'll find your hand book. In the specifications page it'll tell you which formula you should have. If the book is missing call a dealership of your car parts counter. They'll help you out with which type, and furmulation your buggie should have.

I know someone that is Russian and here on a student visa; however, her student visa has expired and she is no longer in school. She did marry a US citizen prior to her student visa expiring so, would that make her a legal citizen? Or is she technically here illegally? You can install any game you want as long as you have the disk. But, remember, to play it, you have to have the disk in the tray. Of course, you can hotswap it but you have to have the drive physically open to do that. Currently there is no exploit to play the game without the original disk.

LAST USED: Boneless thick Pork chops: Was excellent.Below is what I did:
I made some bread crumb, shrimp stuffed(pre-boiled, sauted in olive oil, salt, pepper, green onions, and red bell peppers) stuffed pork chops....Pan seared....then baked at 350.
I also made the following: White wine Green beans: fresh green beans simmered. Fresh ground Mint leaves and Butter on bread(toasted like garlic breads). removing the Tart from the beans( I believe Wine is Tart ) last but not least. I created a Sour coffee tart(no Sugar) covered in Sweet Chocolate...again to counter the flavors.
Ok: Pork is a Dull meat no flavor unless you make it so: BUT::: Chicken Breasts contain alot of salty Fat(i do not trim, Fat is Flavor)
What should I change in this recipe, if any to make it work with chicken????

Sure it would work. I've been working in restaurants since 14, and have found out that no recipe is hard and fast. Besides pork and chicken are considered the other white meat. I would use boneless chicken breasts, a little thicker to make the pocket in. And after they have been seared and are in the oven, put a little chicken broth in the pan and cover to finish cooking. This will make the chicken breast fork tender. You can also inject marinade into your pork chops to give them flavor, or insert slivers of garlic. Sounds yummy. Good luck and never be afraid to experiment. After all that's what cooking is all about, that and having fun.
Take away the shrimp. Shrimp is a strong flavor. I would try a different type of seafood or make it without but it might be good the way it is with the chicken. Sounds great though. Good luck

The best way to ice a cake is to use ready made sugarpaste, do not use a cheap make tho as it cracks, a good make is regalice, and it comes in lots of different sizes and colours, cover your cake in a VERY thin layer of buttercream NEVER use jam and the icing will stick to that, roll out the icing with a non stick rolling pin and NEVER use flour to cover your workspace, use icing sugar, roll it out and place the rolling pin over ( not touching the icing just hovering over ) the icing/ sugarpaste, flip the half furthest away over the rolling pin then place strait onto the cake, make sure your icing is only rolled out no thinner then 5mm thick, or it will fall apart and your done, the best way to smooth it out alothugh it should already be pretty smooth that way is to use cake smoother, also cupping it with the warmth of your hands around the sides can smooth it out pretty well too!

That will make you lose WATER and the weight loss you have will be just an illusion.

The only sure fire way to lose weight is to take in fewer calories that you burn.

Try a diet suppresent or something with a metabolism booster. But, really dieting and excersize are going to be your best bet. It is just the way the body works.

If I have a 16 oz protein shake for breakfast, a 16 oz protein shake for lunch, and a 16 oz protein shake for dinner with a Caesar Salad, will I lose weight? I am not planning on using this long-term. Rather, I am going to try and use it as the detox part of my long-term lifestyle change. The shakes would be homemade. I am thinking it will work, as it is pretty similar to the Slimfast plan, right? I need opinions and/or advice. Thanks. P.S. I have lost 30 pounds in the last 3 months and know it will comeback if I don't make the right changes. Sorry if my answer is too short for your liking, but I feel that film making requires a very creative mind that can manifest ordered visual thoughts to flow well with the mood of the story and the script. If you read books and are really good with visualizing that happenings of the stories in great detail...maybe you have the potential to become a film maker. You have to be very creative and know what makes people interested. How to choose interesting subjects for movies and how to build stories properly so people don't lose interest.

Would this work for a 10 gallon?
I have a filter, heater, thermometer, gravel, fake plants, and is established, for it has been up and running for many years. I'm thinking of getting 3 tiger barbs, 1 male honey gourami and 2 female honey gouramis. Would this work?? Also, I heard that tiger barbs get lazy and faded when they get old. Is this true?? Are there any cool fish I could add instead of the honey gouramis?? Tiger barbs??Would this work for a 10 gallon?

You can't mix a platy a gourami or any barbs together. They are all aggressive fish and they all are different sizes. The gouramis would pic on the barbs but when the barbs get bigger then the grouamis the barbs will go after them. Every fish in that tank will go after the small platy to.
Also your tank is way to small. You will want at least a 20 gallon for all those fish. I have a 10 gallon fish tank. I just down graded from a 30 gallon and I have a medium sized spotted high finned pleco, a giant snail, a red male betta named Rouge and a cory cat. That is all I can basically fit besides maybe one or two small swimming fish, like two mollies. All those fish will get really big and will need to be upgraded to a bigger tank. Since it's a small tank, their going to all harass each other anyways, no matter what size they are.

well the combonation sounds okay, but as far as i know if your fish are healthy, even before death they shouldnt loose their color. if you decide to get those fish, watch carefully the gouramis, they can get territorial and agressive despite the whole 'honey = sweet' idea most people have. add them last in the tank if you buy them and do not put all your fish in at once... im sure you know about ammonia spikes and their lethalness.
and if you want to get another type of fish... i reccomend black moore goldfish. =] they do not need a heater.
but if you dont want coldwater fish, i love angelfish. =D

serving in the Guard is essentially a weekend function with two weeks of active duty for training in the Spring/Summer.
On these weekend drills you usually report in the morning and get dismissed for the evening. If you are too far from home to commute, you would have to stay locally at a motel. Some units have facilities for spending the night, most do not. On some weekends you will go on overnight training missions. When this happens lodging is provided by the military.
Exercise in the morning is a military ritual. Most units do an hour of PT in the morning of every weekend drill. As you get trained and in shape it becomes routine and easy. You will be assigned to basic training at first where you will go to an Army Training Center for up to eight weeks of intense full time training that will get you physically and mentally ready to serve. After that you may get additional training depending on the Occupational Skill that you are assigned. During these periods of training you will be away from your family and friends. You will have to have your baby live with relatives or friends while training.
Your contract can be for anything from two to six years depending on the program you enter. The longer the program, the better training you get.
As far as deployments are concerned, that depends on the unit you are in and the specialty you are trained in. However since the Iran war began, more National Guardsmen have been deployed to combat since the Korean war. So the chances are highly likely that you will be deployed at some point.
The best source for these answers is your local recruiter. My advice to any enlistee is to get all promises and statements as to entitlements in writing from your Recruiter. Never trust anyone recruiting you in verbal form. Have them put it in a letter on Official Letterhead and sign it.

Yes weekends are worked. Reserve Components have the normal two days a month (referred to as a MUTA 4). Congress funds the Reserve Components for 48 MUTAs and 15 days of annual training. There are some additional days provided to move equipment etc... that are tightly controlled for Active Duty Special Work (ADSW).
The ARNG has a very limited amount of housing assigned to it (believe the last official residence as Fort Indiantown Gap, PA). If you are a traditional M-day soldier; you receive no housing allowance - you have a regular full time job.
Yes there is a schedule allocation for exercise - depends on your command (early morning or afternoon) for technicians and AGRs. It is your responsibility if you are an M-Day to maintain your fitness on your own.
There are training schedules during weekend/AT dates to accomplish specific goals/training tasks. If you are an AGR or a Technician there is no specific schedule other than meeting suspenses for documents and other files.
To be an AGR means that you have to be accepted as a Title 10 or Title 32 (USC 10) and meet those standards. AGRs are on indefinite tours after there first initial utilization tour of 2 years. As for the other contracts - its normally based on 4-6 years depending on the bonus that you take on your enlistment tour.

Yes weekends are worked. Reserve Components have the normal two days a month (referred to as a MUTA 4). Congress funds the Reserve Components for 48 MUTAs and 15 days of annual training. There are some additional days provided to move equipment etc... that are tightly controlled for Active Duty Special Work (ADSW).
The ARNG has a very limited amount of housing assigned to it (believe the last official residence as Fort Indiantown Gap, PA). If you are a traditional M-day soldier; you receive no housing allowance - you have a regular full time job.
Yes there is a schedule allocation for exercise - depends on your command (early morning or afternoon) for technicians and AGRs. It is your responsibility if you are an M-Day to maintain your fitness on your own.
There are training schedules during weekend/AT dates to accomplish specific goals/training tasks. If you are an AGR or a Technician there is no specific schedule other than meeting suspenses for documents and other files.
To be an AGR means that you have to be accepted as a Title 10 or Title 32 (USC 10) and meet those standards. AGRs are on indefinite tours after there first initial utilization tour of 2 years. As for the other contracts - its normally based on 4-6 years depending on the bonus that you take on your enlistment tour.
Yes they get deployed - some units are going back for their second or third tour. At one time in Iraq 50% of the force was Reserve Component.

If you're 15, im guessing your in high school. why not try a school sport? They challenge you and get you active and in shape. From doing 2 school sports in one school year, I lost 12 pounds and I'm 15 too. I also tried to drink less soda and eat candy less often. I don't know any teens that do weight watchers, but that's worth a shot if you can't do sports.

My aunt started it about 6 months after she had her baby and now the baby is a year old and she's already smaller than her size was before she had her. And it's not expensive at all. You just buy regular food but they have this booklet that tells you how many points each food is worth, and you can only eat a certain amount of points a day. Like i said, it's amazing.
Weight Watchers works, but you have to stick with it 100%. I'm not sure how much Weight Watchers online costs, but after a while you could buy this package they have that has 2 books filled with foods and their points, and one recipe book. It also has a book where you log your points and feelings. If your not looking to spend a lot of money I suggest this because this lasts a life time and if you do Weight Watchers online you membership expires. After a few months you might have to move on to recording your points in a notebook because your log book will be filled up. I hope i helped!
P.S. Once you go off of Wieght Watchers unless you really watch what you eat you will probobly gain some weight back.

weight watchers is a good program,but I can't tell you how much the cost is.I found slim fast shakes that I took a lot of weight off with,they come in strawberry,chocolate and vanilla.I drank them for breakfast and lunch along with having some fruit or vegetables.Then I had dinner and made sure what I ate was healthy,I mostly ate chicken and turkey.Remember it's not only what you eat but how it's prepared.I would bake my chicken and I happen to like vegetables so it wasn't any problem for me.If I wanted something sweet,I would have diet root beer or 1 or 2% chocolate milk.I also exercized by riding a stationary bike with headphones on to listen to music,soon I became addicted,I was riding 15 miles a night to burn calories and the weight dropped off.Slim fast also makes snacks that you can have.After I lost the weight,I continued to drink it because it's packed full of vitamins,read the can.I just liked the taste of it and I always made sure that it was cold and drank it with a straw.It's a controlled amount of calories that your taking in and a really good way to peel off some weight.Hope you find this helpful and good luck!

weight watchers is a good program,but I can't tell you how much the cost is.I found slim fast shakes that I took a lot of weight off with,they come in strawberry,chocolate and vanilla.I drank them for breakfast and lunch along with having some fruit or vegetables.Then I had dinner and made sure what I ate was healthy,I mostly ate chicken and turkey.Remember it's not only what you eat but how it's prepared.I would bake my chicken and I happen to like vegetables so it wasn't any problem for me.If I wanted something sweet,I would have diet root beer or 1 or 2% chocolate milk.I also exercized by riding a stationary bike with headphones on to listen to music,soon I became addicted,I was riding 15 miles a night to burn calories and the weight dropped off.Slim fast also makes snacks that you can have.After I lost the weight,I continued to drink it because it's packed full of vitamins,read the can.I just liked the taste of it and I always made sure that it was cold and drank it with a straw.It's a controlled amount of calories that your taking in and a really good way to peel off some weight.Hope you find this helpful and good luck!

Get a good lotion made for sensitive faces. I highly recommend Cetaphil. I've been using it for a long time, and it is not very expensive. Put it on as the last step in you face cleaning routine in the morning, and do not put it on at night. Illusions are hard to figure out because we don't really understand how our eyes work... but what we do know is that round things are seen spinning a lot so our eyes just see the ones out of our main vision spinning.
