Firefox wont load any pages but when i use IE it works. how cani fix this?

I just downloaded firefox but the problem is that it wont load any pages. I know it doenst have to do anything with my internet connection because when i use IE everything loads. Go to the Tools tab, and select Options. Check all the settings to see that pages are not being blocked. if this doesn't work, try the Help tab. Or it may be that Firefox didn't download properly. Try downloading it again. (Don't worry about overwriting the existing copy.)
