Can you tell me how this works? Please?

If theyre still counting, then why did they say that Clinton won?

They actually call them ';projected'; winners, because they don't have official numbers yet. Once most of the votes are in %26amp; they can ';project'; a winner based on the votes that are in...this may be due to the fact that even if all outstanding votes are for the candidate in 2nd place that he/she couldn't catch the front-runner or it could be based on trends. (The first is more likely.)Can you tell me how this works? Please?
Statistic sampling...
This might help you...

Cuz that's what the liberal media wants as the democratic presidential runner ?

The media has gotten it wrong before, they usually have to jump to conclusions since we are now in the ';immediate'; information age. They can't allow some competitor to scoop them.

Problem is ...there isn't anyone to hold them accountable for when they do blow it.

I'd like to see media , candidates as well as present day representatives held accountable for the lies they tell and assumtions they make. Sure, media blowing it might not effect your life...but reps on the floor of the senate lying to the American people ? That's just dead wrong....especially when its so easily provable and blatant a lie.
It's the law of probability.
It's only a projection. Like if x percentage of the votes thus far have gone to Clinton, and only y percent went to Obama, then after so many votes are in, they can see the trend continue and usually safely assume that Clinton will continue to get x votes.
its a projection
IDK how did bush (W) win Florida in his first run
