Does anyone get how this whole point thing works on yahoo answers?

Yahoo wants us to answer, not ask. :)Does anyone get how this whole point thing works on yahoo answers?
Emfer,

Point system works this way

You answer questions 2 points are earned

vote for undecided questions 1 point

once a day log in 1 point

choose the best answer for your question 3 points

choose after 4 hours

if you answer a questions and its chosen as best 10 points

rated best one more point.

The above is the earned points.

Now the lost points

Asking questions you lose 5 points this doesn't matter what the level is

deleting an answer you lose 2 points

violations cost 10 points

a loss at an appeal cost another 10 points.

-

Depending what level you are on will determine how many questions you can ask answer vote on

Points encourage people to participate in the earn points

yahoo answers uses points and levels to detemine how active the participant is.

For example if a person has 110 points this is level 1

for them to get level 2 they need another 140 points.

points are yahoo's way of having some control

you get 100 for signing up (But you only get that once)

you get 1 point for signing in (once every day)

you get 1 for voting

2 for answering

and 10 for getting picked as a best answer

if you ask a question you loose 5

the points are categorized into different levels

each level gets a higher quota of daily questions, answers, and voting.
To thank the Yahoo! Answers community for great answers, we give points for various actions. Answers points help you build your reputation on Yahoo! Answers and show the world what you have to offer. You need points to ask a question but you can quickly earn the points back when you resolve your question and by giving answers that are picked as the best answer.

The points table linked below summarizes how many points you get for each of the different actions you take. The points allow the community to recognize how active and helpful you've been, and they give you another excuse to brag to your friends.

The point system is easy, the other guys have told you how it works..what is not so easy to comprehend is the violations system.Someone doesn't like a question or answer you give and you get a violation notice and they take 10 points off you. They give you a chance to appeal, but they always turn you down. We all get them all of the time, so don't worry about it.
yes I do
