I have a duvet (86';x86';) but the comforter I was going to use is bigger (88';x90';). Will this work?

It will actually work better to have the comforter be a few inches bigger all the way around, than the duvet cover . . . the feathers always seem to bunch together some, and this way, you won't have loose fabric hanging on the sides where the filling should be. Go for it!I have a duvet (86';x86';) but the comforter I was going to use is bigger (88';x90';). Will this work?
It might work,if you can get it to go inside without bunching up. Get someone to help you. The only way to find out, is to take the time and try it .Depends on how thick the comforter is.
