I DONT GET HOW THIS WORKS?

ok so how come you have to go to the gym and workout to lose weight but then i see people asking/answering questions and being like go to the gym youll gain weight fast. why does that happenI DONT GET HOW THIS WORKS?
Because when you want to lose weight usually your a lot of flub but when you begin to go to the gym all that's doing is tightening the flub turning it into muscle type stuff which weighs more and causes you to gain weight, whereas if you pair it with diet and a high aerobic routine you'll probably lose instead of gaining...I DONT GET HOW THIS WORKS?
You lose fat weight with some but gain muscle weight with others, talk to a trainer at the gym to find out what kind of exercises you should do.
I have lost 30 pounds and never went to the gym. The only reason anyone gains weight is coz they are eating the wrong foods. 85% of weight loss is what you eat and if you eat high fat and sugar no amounts of the gym will help you lose weight.
lifting weights builds muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat. Putting on muscle puts on weight.
By building muscles, you improve your body's metabolism. So in fact working out would lead you to have a better shaped body.





For underweight people - it helps balance to normal


For overweight people - same, duh!
losing weight and losing fat/inches on the waist is different. people who want to go to the gym to gain weight, is not in fat, its in muscle. Muscle weighs more that fat. you workout , burn fat, build muscle, the more muscle mass the more calories you burn in a day. so muscle building is essentially you losing fat LBS and gaining muscle LBS. altogether if you are on the heavy side, your weight will prob drop. if you skinny n go muscle building, you gain muscle weight.
