To Kill a Mockingbird? What was your take on this work?
Did you find it intelligent, or did you think it worked too hard at being provocative? I've just recently re-read it, since high school English many years ago, and was surprised at how my opinions have changed.To Kill a Mockingbird? What was your take on this work?
im sorry for being honest, but i thought it was the worst book i ever read in my entire life! its so pointless and boring!! normally, i can read books that size under a week, but it took me over two weeks and i couldn't bring myself to read the last two or three pages!! everytime i staarted reading it, i could only get past 3 paragraphs the most, before i think ill die with boredom!

After washing your hair you can 2-strand twist it or plait it. The smaller you plait or twist the more crinkley it will be, the bigger the twists the more wavy it will be. Still use your mousse or setting lotion which ever you choose. You can then let it air dry or blow dry it. Only spritz it a little bit while its wet. Once your hair is completely dry, take the plaits or twists out and you will have your ''Perfectly Messy Hairdo''. Just make sure if you do it this way you plait or twist your hair as tight as you can. I do this to my hair about every 4-6 months because for some odd reason it helps my hair grow.
Make sure you use a mousse that is specially designed for curly hair or to ADD curls and it should be fine. Good luck :) xxxx

yes i would say stay natural and use olive oil and avacados... do not condition your hair with name brand conditioners too often because it will make your hair dehydrated form doing it so often. also if you shampoo your hair everyday... stop. it drys it out emmensly. rather then doing that shampoo your hair every two days or so. and just wet your hair everyday if itfeels as if its getting greasy. but that greasy is natural gease and is better for your hair..
so do not shampoo everyday. and condition every so often.
Try Alchemy Lavender %26amp; Anthillis 24 hr Intensive Moisture Leave in Conditioner also the Gingko %26amp; Jojoba Intensive Moisture, Vitamin Masque is very good try ur local health store or chemist i know that my local priceline sells the hair range now but im unsure if thats all pricelines so best try a health store.

honey.....if you are 19 and you have $3000, then you must have a job. if you are unhappy there, and you clearly are, maybe you should seriously look into moving out. i don't know where you live,(what state) but if you have a job and have been there for a while, you should be able to find a small furnished studio apartment and get out on your own. you can check for listings at some place like www.craigslist.com and find an apartment or even a room to rent from someone. once you get out of your parents house, then you can address your other issues. if your dad feels so strongly about homosexuality, the last place you want to be when he finds out about it is in HIS house. as for making friends, start by going places that you like and talk to people there, you will have something to talk about because you are both there for the same reason. don't worry about finding a BF, just make FRIENDS and take your time. getting away from your fathers mean remarks and constant put downs will be the best thing you can do for yourself. once you start feeling better about yourself you can think about finding a BF, or better yet, he'll find you. good luck and think pleasant thoughts...........MLHuge life problem this is terrible nothing works for me everything I do fails I probably need help what to do?

A friend of mine let me borrow his car a while back and to save gas i took the toll way but didn't pay tolls, i just went through the ez pass lanes. Well he gave me a call today, said that he got two tickets for it. Said they are due on the 30th. I WILL PAY THE TICKETS FOR HIM, but i do not have the money right now, is there any way that we can work it out so i can maybe get an extension or what will happen if i don't pay them on time?How can i work this ticket problem out?

My hair thinned out, maybe because I was missing potassium and maybe also protein. My hair seems pretty normal now, but I heard for some people who are dieting their hair does not quite come back all the way.
So be sure to take some mineral supplements.
Recently I was dieting again a little. I made sure I was taking potassium and magnesium. But I was relying more on exercise (walking) this time than dieting. But my doctor found out and told me not to lose any weight. She wants me between 155 and 160 lbs. So I kind of have to cool it now.

Every time you try again all the symbols change. If you add up any number and subtract from the answer you get a number...
Every answer you could possibly come up with on that page has THE SAME SYMBOL!
It is physically impossible not to come up with the sign they have pre-chosen for you.
The people it didn't work for either don't know how to add and subtract or looked at the wrong symbol. It's set up to be right every time.

No matter what number you pick, the answer you get after adding the digits and whatnot is always that black and white flower. Try all the numbers, if you have to, but the answer always has that symbol--never any of the others.
It's cycled through. There's only like 4-5 symbols, so there's a god chance it's going to be right. It got 3/5 for me.

Okay this is how it works. When you do the formula they ask you to do it always equals a multiple of 9. So all the numbers on that list that are a multiple of 9 are always the same symbol.
For example 97 9 + 7 = 16 , 97 - 16 = 81... 81 is a multiple of nine.
Try it for any 2 digit number it is always a multiple of nine. Also look at the list you will see all multiple of 9's are the same symbol.
9 18 27 36 45 54 63 72 81 90 99 will all be the same symbol and are the only possible answers you will ever come up with.
There will be other numbers that have a corresponding symbol but these are not multiples of 9 but you won't ever get that as an answer to the formula.
For people who say it's an illusion try closing your eyes and pressing the ball. Open your eyes and tell me if you see a shape. Now that you see there is a shape answer this... how could that possibly be an illusion when you haven't been staring at it? Now look at all the multiples of 9 it's corresponding!

lets say your number is 23. 2+3=5. 23 - 5 = 18. You look at 18, and your answer is shown there.
Now lets say your number is 25. 2+5=7. 25-7=18. Either way, your number/symbol is 18. This works throughout all of the numbers on the list. Basically, whatever symbol 18 is, is what your symbol is going to be when it ';reads'; your mind.

Okay this is how it works. When you do the formula they ask you to do it always equals a multiple of 9. So all the numbers on that list that are a multiple of 9 are always the same symbol.
For example 97 9 + 7 = 16 , 97 - 16 = 81... 81 is a multiple of nine.
Try it for any 2 digit number it is always a multiple of nine. Also look at the list you will see all multiple of 9's are the same symbol.
9 18 27 36 45 54 63 72 81 90 99 will all be the same symbol and are the only possible answers you will ever come up with.
There will be other numbers that have a corresponding symbol but these are not multiples of 9 but you won't ever get that as an answer to the formula.
For people who say it's an illusion try closing your eyes and pressing the ball. Open your eyes and tell me if you see a shape. Now that you see there is a shape answer this... how could that possibly be an illusion when you haven't been staring at it? Now look at all the multiples of 9 it's corresponding!

well, that math thing really has nothing to do with it, its just when a black symbol u concentrated on, gets in ur mind then when u look at the bright white ball, that black symbol looks like it is being projected into the ball, even though its just an Optical illusion

lets say your number is 23. 2+3=5. 23 - 5 = 18. You look at 18, and your answer is shown there.
Now lets say your number is 25. 2+5=7. 25-7=18. Either way, your number/symbol is 18. This works throughout all of the numbers on the list. Basically, whatever symbol 18 is, is what your symbol is going to be when it ';reads'; your mind.

How do you work this Foodsaver made by Tilia?
I bought this thing at a yard sale for like $2.00. It seals the bags, but for the life of me, I can't figure out how to get the damn air out of the bag using this machine. I thought the thing was supposed to suck it out, and then seal it at the same time. Do you know where I can get these rolls cheaply? First off about the bags. You can use the cheaper Black and Decker bags (get at Wal-Mart), but their well, cheaper. They don't seal as well as the Foodsaver bags. I've settled on using the Foodsaver bags only, they seem to be the best choice in the long run.
Make sure you reuse the bags if possible. Do not wash them in the dishwasher, it destroys them. By destroy, I mean that the bags end up curling on you and you have to cut the curled edge off to use it. Just wash them by hand and let them air dry.
To use the machine; After you sealed the bottom of the bag, fill with food and make sure the bag is laid flat, absolutely no wrinkles. Newbies make the mistake, of not having enough bag exposed, they try to cut the bag too close to the food.
Just make sure the open end of the bag, is in between the oval rubber seal and laying flat. If you do that, it should be OK. When the machine evacuates the air, you'll hear a high pitched hum, it will draw down to a low pitch, as the air is sucked out. Keep holding the bar down (if you see the bag shrink around the food) until it seals, the function light will go from red to green.
Failing that, have you tried contacting the company? They can be very helpful.
My first machine was an original and so old they couldn't get parts to fix it. For the price of postage, they sent me a new machine and they paid to get my old one.

I did not work for the year of 2008. I know that I do not need to file taxes for myself. I do go to school full time, however, and last year I received the Hope College Tax Credit (or something like that). How does one cope with the pain ?? He was '; my baby'; !! I called him that because I helped my sister in law with him till he passed away. He was so helpless and so sick !! We lost mom in June and now him.What now? After Death?? Embalming process? Please explain how this works??
Sorry about your loss. If you have never been involved in planning a funeral for a family member, you almost ceretainly have all kinds of questions. Whatever professional you are working with, do not be afraid to ask him or her. Those in the business are typically happy to answer any question you may have.
If he was embalmed, he is likely being kept on a wheeled table, dressed in a hospital gown, until time to dress him and place him in the casket, if that is the type of arrangements you chose. It would be in a regular room, refrigeration would not be necessary if he were embalmed.
If he were not embalmed, he would need to be kept refrigerated until time for whatever method of final disposition you selected, either cremation or direct burial without embalmig. This would be done either on a table with wheels, or a large drawer type of affair, depending on what kind of equipment the particular location may have.What now? After Death?? Embalming process? Bodies are kept in refrigerated compartments until the funeral director is called to pick up the body. They then prepare it for viewing; which includes embalming; removing bodily fluids. Please do not focus on this procedure or the condition of his body, etc. I know it is a body that you loved, but please try to remember that the body is only a shell. His spirit is eternal and will be with the Lord for a saved person.

After death, a body is kept in a refrigeration unit until it is embalmed. When a body is embalmed, a formaldehyde solution is pumped through the circulatory system which replaces most of the blood. Having been a funeral director before, I can assure you that they will take very good care of your brother. I am sorry for your loss.
so sorry for your loss.. you sound like you might need a grief counsler to help you deal with your loss.. but this is still very fresh.. the pain will ease but never go away.. you have to remember the good stuff and things.. i just lost my father not long ago.. i have a sister not dealing with it well and wont get help.. please if you have a hard time with it talk to someone and lean on each other for support..know the details of that other stuff wont help you right this moment i would think.. but later after its all done and time has passed you can talk to the ones that took care of that stuff and they can show you around and tell you more.. maybe by then you wont be as curious.. need to focus on what a good man he was and the good things.. the things that he did to make you laugh at him and the things that you all did together.. memories will be what you hold on to and look back too.. good luck, god bless you and your family
all i know is they drain your blood and fill it with this fluid that holds off the decaying for a while...it is very hard to deal with a loss. i recently lost my aunt and uncle unexpectedly and it was very hard. I've found only time heals, and that there was no sense is laying around and moping because that is life. nothing is promised and you cant bring them back. good luck and feel better
I am so sincerely sorry for your loss. To get right to your question; the funeral director is a professional. He will be very careful with your brother. My Son went to Mortuary School. They will wash and care for his remains. They will remove the blood by draining it with surgical tubes. It is all a very careful and clean process. Sorry about your loss. If you have never been involved in planning a funeral for a family member, you almost ceretainly have all kinds of questions. Whatever professional you are working with, do not be afraid to ask him or her. Those in the business are typically happy to answer any question you may have.
If he was embalmed, he is likely being kept on a wheeled table, dressed in a hospital gown, until time to dress him and place him in the casket, if that is the type of arrangements you chose. It would be in a regular room, refrigeration would not be necessary if he were embalmed.
If he were not embalmed, he would need to be kept refrigerated until time for whatever method of final disposition you selected, either cremation or direct burial without embalmig. This would be done either on a table with wheels, or a large drawer type of affair, depending on what kind of equipment the particular location may have.What now? After Death?? Embalming process? Bodies are kept in refrigerated compartments until the funeral director is called to pick up the body. They then prepare it for viewing; which includes embalming; removing bodily fluids. Please do not focus on this procedure or the condition of his body, etc. I know it is a body that you loved, but please try to remember that the body is only a shell. His spirit is eternal and will be with the Lord for a saved person.

all i know is they drain your blood and fill it with this fluid that holds off the decaying for a while...it is very hard to deal with a loss. i recently lost my aunt and uncle unexpectedly and it was very hard. I've found only time heals, and that there was no sense is laying around and moping because that is life. nothing is promised and you cant bring them back. good luck and feel better

Just make sure you are using lots of conditioner and maybe even running a little bit of hair product through your hair first, because it can definitely singe or damage your hair folicals. I use lots of conditioner and run a very miniscule amount of Bed Head Manipulator through my hair before I even think about ironing.Do you know if this works?

If it was my piano, I would ask a friend who has moved baby grands before and/or hire piano movers. Baby grands are heavy, awkward, and expensive. I wouldn't want to pay to fix the piano,should anything happen to it, much less have to replace it. Plus it's winter here and icy lol.

NEVER move a grand with the legs on! Remove the legs, wrap so they don't get scratched....strap the piano to a piano board, move. Set up requires a ridgid box to support the piano while you re-install the legs. There is a nut with a swing clamp to undo/redo the legs. You will probably need a rubber mallet covered with heavy padding to whack the legs free and back into place. Remove the pedal stand also...you will see how all this is done if you take a look. Obviously, you will need two friends to help you move this piano.
When my Baby Grand was moved, they removed the legs and wrapped them separately and placed the upper potion into a special rack inside their truck to make sure it didn't move while in transit.
If you value the piano, get a professional mover. You're going to have to call a tuner to come tune it whether you do a god job or bad anyway, because all that movement WILL throw at least some keys out of tune.
hire someone who specializes in moving pianos. they have the proper slings and carts to do this. if you try moving it yourself you will ruin it. the biggest problem in moving a grand piano is when you flip it over. unless it is done properly you will snap the legs off.

If it was my piano, I would ask a friend who has moved baby grands before and/or hire piano movers. Baby grands are heavy, awkward, and expensive. I wouldn't want to pay to fix the piano,should anything happen to it, much less have to replace it. Plus it's winter here and icy lol.
BTW it took three piano movers to move my upright up 1 1/2 flights of stairs. They had a special cart and wrapped it up well and it arrived in good condition.Moving a baby grande piano: Moving it from a storage unit onto a rental truck. Would this work?
NEVER move a grand with the legs on! Remove the legs, wrap so they don't get scratched....strap the piano to a piano board, move. Set up requires a ridgid box to support the piano while you re-install the legs. There is a nut with a swing clamp to undo/redo the legs. You will probably need a rubber mallet covered with heavy padding to whack the legs free and back into place. Remove the pedal stand also...you will see how all this is done if you take a look. Obviously, you will need two friends to help you move this piano.
When my Baby Grand was moved, they removed the legs and wrapped them separately and placed the upper potion into a special rack inside their truck to make sure it didn't move while in transit.
If you value the piano, get a professional mover. You're going to have to call a tuner to come tune it whether you do a god job or bad anyway, because all that movement WILL throw at least some keys out of tune.

Yeah it's a mathematical trick, based on the number nine. Check out the symbol on all the multiples of nine 9,18,27,36,45,54,63,72, and 81 and all other numbers don't happen.Can you explain how this works.?

when you start with 2 numbers minus the 2 added together. answer is one of 15 possable answers! they are 0 -6 -9 -18 -23 -27 -29 -36 -40 -45 -54 -72 -73 -81 -82
if you look at the symbols they are all the same on these numbers. each time you play they just change the symbol.

Other numbers: 15. Add digits (6) subtract from 15 (9). I bet you 81 and 9 have the same symbol posted. That symbol will be the card flipped.
If you add up the digits of any two digit number and subtract it from the original, you always get a multiple of 9.

hi i am a nurse and have worked in many hospitals altho i am unsure of your question i will give it a go depending on size of the ward i would suggest ther be at least 2 ports of fire alarms located in each ward ( at the very very least ther will be one near the ';nurses '; station ) i am almost certain ther will be no fire equipment in the ward as this would not be our duty to put out a fire in saying that I'm sure ther are some ward with fire extinguishers as some ward have certain chemicals in them now altho they are ther I'm sure you or i would not be expected to use them as our first priority would be to get our sick patients out if there were to be fire !! most hospital doors will be fire doors fire exits are clearly marked with a green background and they say ';fire exit '; on them fire assembly points are different for each ward so i would double check this one !!! also i dont mean to sound rude but if you are just starting out working in a hospital then the first thing that your ';ward sister'; should have shown you in great detail is all the things that you have asked for if he/she hasn't they are very much in the wrong and you should speak to her/hI'm and ask these questions also well done on asking someone for some advice on health and safety at work not many people no or even care were fire exits are im sure you will be a great asset to your team i hope this helps you x x x x and goodluck x x xCan someone who works in the NHS hospital answer this question?
